THE LOCATION

All of the day’s festivities will take place at Wild Carrot Event Venue, 3901 Shaw Blvd | St. Louis, MO 63110.

OUTDOORS VS. INDOORS

We plan on hosting the ceremony at the outdoor space located behind Wild Carrot. If there is inclement weather, we’ll pivot and hold the ceremony indoors. Cocktail hour will be hosted on the front patio outdoors and indoors. The reception will be indoors.

ATTIRE

Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. When choosing your shoes, consider that the ceremony will be on grass. We kindly ask the Ladies to refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream colored attire.

Bonus points for anyone who wears a 70s chic aesthetic. You might be asking yourself, “But what is a 70s chic aesthetic?” Good question. This would be an outfit with a nod to the 70s. You should feel fashion-forward, chic, and classy. When choosing your outfit you may want to ask yourself, “Would I feel appropriate wearing this next to someone wearing a tuxedo?” Please, no costumes. Check out this inspiration board for reference or scroll to the bottom of this page for reference photos. This is 100% optional! If you are more comfortable in a typical Semi-Formal Cocktail Attire outfit, we encourage you to go that route. This is just a fun option for our fashionistas.

PARKING & VALET

If you plan on drinking at the open bar, we ask that you please take an Uber or Lyft to the venue. Due to it’s location in the Shaw neighborhood, Wild Carrot does not have a designated parking lot, just street parking on 39th Street. If you would like to drive, we will have a valet service parking cars nearby. If you are looking at the building, Valet will be located on the right-hand side near the outdoor space on 39th street. Cars will be monitored at all times by a security team. Valet service will begin at 4:30 PM. Cars cannot be left overnight. We ask that you please do not park on Shaw Blvd, it is reserved for residential parking. Please refer to this map for more information.

ADULT ONLY EVENING

While we love the children in our lives, we plan on having an adult only evening. Children and young adults include anyone under the age of 21. We hope that you have sufficient time to plan for accommodations for babysitters so you can enjoy a fun night out.

PLUS ONES

We would love to allow all guests to bring a plus one, however, we are restricted by the space available within the venue and will not be able to give each guest a plus one. Your invitation will be addressed accordingly to reflect guest options: Mr. John Doe (no guest allotted) // Ms. Jane Doe & Guest (plus one of your choosing) // Mr. & Mrs. John Doe (spouse invited). THE DINNER MENU

First Course, For everyone:
Field greens with a choice of two dressings: Balsamic Vinaigrette or Buttermilk Ranch

Second Course, For those who selected a dual protein option the second course is:
Citrus-Roasted Salmon & Rosemary Beef Tenderloin served with a dill Basmati rice (a nod to Persian cuisine), roasted seasonal vegetables, &french beans lightly coated in a shallot butter

Second Course, For those who selected a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free option the second course is:
Heirloom rice, roasted vegetables, & asparagus

LODGING

A majority of our friends and families either live in the St. Louis area or have family that they can stay with while in town. For that reason, we have decided to opt out from booking any hotel blocks. However, feel free to check out our Travel & Stay page on our website for hotel recommendations.
